Newwesttravel.com Terms and Conditions

It is the responsibility of the user to read and accept the Newwesttravel.com Terms and Conditions before purchasing travel services through the newwesttravel.com website.
It is also the responsibility of the user to read the rules and regulations of the tour company in which you are purchasing travel services from by visiting the tour operator rules and regulations on their official website.
These Terms and Conditions are applicable to all users of the website. By using this website you agree solely, without modification, to the terms and conditions listed below and to the terms and conditions of the respective tour company in which you are booking your travel services.
Users of the Newwesttravel.com website shall be referred to as ‘the customer’ in these Terms & Conditions.

Responsibility

Newwesttravel.com has the same responsibilities as a travel agency, as such it offers the service of providing travel information and reservations, as provided by various third party suppliers, to the customer.
All customers, must be at least 18 years of age in order to purchase travel services from Newwesttravel.com, unless written consent is given by the parent or legal guardian of the customer. 

Pricing and Content

All prices within this website are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. Airport fees, where applicable, are not included in the pricing. All prices on this website are subject to change without prior notice. Any changes in pricing that may occur before, during or after a purchase, as a result of a tour operator and/or airline change, are not the responsibility of Newwesttravel.com. Once a booking is complete, pricing CANNOT be adjusted. Pricing and availability on all packages and flights is not guaranteed until issued and paid in full. Any prices quoted are not guaranteed and are subject to change at any time until booked and paid in full.
All products are subject to availability and deliverable within Canada only. All informational content, such as hotel and destination information, on this website is provided only as a guideline and may not be an exact representation. Due to constant changes and occasional circumstances beyond our control some of the hotel and destination information within this website may not be 100% accurate.
Price Drop Guarantees are offered through the Tour Operator for full terms, conditions and availability please visit the chosen Tour Operators official website. Newwesttravel.com is not responsible for losses or damages associated with the Price Drop Guarantee offered through your chosen Tour Operator.

Payment

Payment for online bookings is required in full at the time of purchase (unless otherwise stated). Online purchases can be made using Visa, MasterCard, or American Express credit cards. Flight and vacation package purchases are 100% non-refundable. All payment made on line including third party credit card bookings will require written confirmation from the credit card holder. Suspected fraudulent purchases will be automatically canceled by newwesttravel.com. All fraudulent purchase will be investigated and prosecuted.

Confirmation and Delivery

Once an online purchase is made, the customer will receive an automatic email confirming their purchase. This email will contain a copy of all the information that the customer entered for the booking, such as passenger names and contact information. It is the responsibility of the customer to verify that the information on the confirmation email is in accordance with the travel product that they have purchased. The customer will also be contacted by a Newwest Travel Agent in order to confirm the details of the booking. Any changes required due to the customer entering incorrect information and/or spelling mistakes during the booking process may result in additional change fees as imposed by the tour operator and/or airline and/or Newwest Travel.

Flight Times and Confirmation

Flight schedules are subject to change as per airline terms and conditions. In the event of a flight schedule change, if notified by the airline, Newwesttravel.com will send a flight schedule change notice to the customer. Customers should reconfirm their flight times at least 24 hours prior to departure to ensure that no last minute flight changes have occurred.

Check In

Airline counter opens 3 hours prior to departure and closes 1 hour prior to departure. Late arrivals may be refused boarding and subject to full cancellation penalties. Any passengers attempting to check-in within 1 hour to departure time will be denied boarding and not provided any refund or alternate options.

Travel Documents

Travel tickets are now in the form of electronic tickets (e-tickets), unless otherwise stated. E-tickets will be emailed to the email address provided by the customer at time of booking or sent via Canada Post to the customers mailing address. Travel Documents are released by the Tour Operator approximate. 4 weeks prior to departure. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the correct information is provided and they receive all pertinent documents.

Documentation

A valid Canadian passport is the only reliable and universally accepted evidence of Canadian citizenship and is required to travel outside of Canada. It is the responsibility of the customer to obtain all the necessary documents, such as passports and visas required to gain entry into the country or countries of destination. Certain countries require that the passport be valid for 6 months beyond the date of return to Canada. It is the full responsibility of the Customers to ensure that all required documentation is received before scheduled travel
One parent travelling with a child under the age of 18 may have to obtain a notarized letter of consent signed by the parent not travelling.
For more information on required travel documents, please consult the Government of Canada website www.travel.gc.ca or your Newwest Travel Agent.
Failure to provide the required documents may result in being denied boarding privileges by the carrier or authorities, without the possibility of a refund or compensation. Newwest travel is not liable for any aid or information given by its employees in connection with obtaining any necessary travel documents or complying with any laws, whether given orally, in writing or otherwise, or for the consequences suffered by any Customer resulting from failure to obtain such documents or to comply with such laws.

Cancellation, Changes and Penalties 

Package and/or all other travel arrangements are non-refundable (unless otherwise stated).  For all change and cancellation conditions, please refer to the Tour Operator or Carriers current brochure or official website and/or Newwest Travel.  Change and cancellation terms are subject to change without notice.
Any airline tickets purchased outside of Newwest Travel business hours will not be ticketed or purchased until confirmation from the purchaser is obtained. Ticket prices and availability are subject to change until ticketed and paid in full.

Travel Insurance

Newwest Travel highly recommends the purchase of travel insurance covering unexpected events that can occur when travelling abroad, namely medical and hospital expenses, trip cancellation or baggage loss. Failure to purchase travel insurance will require a signed insurance waiver. The waiver will waive any liability against Newwest Travel and/or the Travel Consultant for any costs incurred as a result of the choice not to purchase Travel Insurance Coverage or the selection of the principal sums and/or sums insured of the insurance(s) that is purchased.

Ownership

Newwest Travel publishes and maintains a website to offer clients the ability to book vacations on-line or with a Newwest Travel Consultant. Newwest Travel is committed to providing our website visitors with the information they are seeking in a manner that respects their privacy.
All the contents within the Newwest Travel website are the property of Newwest Travel & Cruises LTD and/or its third party suppliers. This website is for personal use only and may not be used for commercial purposes.
The Newwest Travel website is to be used to gather information on travel related goods and services and to make legitimate purchases and/or reservations. The Newwest Travel website may not be used to make any false, fraudulent, or speculative purchases and/or reservations.
